Fair Trade Creatures

Each Fair Trade Creature is individually hand crafted of felt by Indian artisans using traditional techniques. By using their skills, the artisans gain income, independence, and opportunity. In addition to the work they provide, the Australian-based company that produces these animals has successfully built 10 schools in India since 2007, and now provides more than 450 children with improved education and hygiene. The designs for their Fair Trade Creatures are based on the drawings of pre-school children who attend these schools. Each whimsical Fair Trade Creature has its own unique personality, and only Olive & Cocoa offers them delightfully gift wrapped in a re-usable hand crafted wood crate with ribbon. Monkey measures 10" high, Elephant and Giraffe are each 8" high. For decorative use only.
