Perfect 50th Anniversary Gift!

Not as pictured nor functioning
I bought this lock as a Valentine's day gift for my boyfriend. I couldn't inspect it before mailing it abroad to him since the box was stapled shut so I didn't know the quality until he got it. The lock is not the same as the lock pictured. It looks to be made of shiny metal and not aged at all. Also the "functioning" part of it doesn't work. One of the keys is too big to even fit in the lock while the other does nothing. The overall quality is cheap. Completely disappointed!

Not As Pictured
This is an amazing idea - and I can build off of this but I had my hopes set high. This has nothing to do with how the colors look on different screens. The photo that is shown of the lock looks aged and worn the lock that is sent is not a replica of an old lock - or if it is not a highly great one. The lock is shiny. One other reviewer stated the same thing, but I gave the benefit of doubt and ordered 2 and upon opening it to make sure that id be truly satisfied giving these as gifts I became extremely disappointed. Such is life.

Love the LOVE Lock!
I bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day. He totally loved the romantic gift and it hangs on our front porch so we can see it every day! We also used the keys for handles in a set of antique doors we have, those made a perfect addition too!

Parisian Lock and key
The gift was what I expected and went over great with my wife.... I had to call customer service to find out where my gift was and why it was late... The tracking number for ups(please use the Us post office in the future)was no good... The customer service rep could not find my gift and they over nights my gift and flowers to make up for the mistake.... So the day after valentines I have my wife the lock flowers and plane tickets to Pairs and she was more in love with the lock and flowers then the trip....... thank you for helping make this Valentine's Day one she will never forget

A round of applause for you Olive & Cocoa! I had never even heard of this company prior to ordering the love lock, but for the price of the item, decided to give it a shot. Upon reading many reviews, it sounded like this thing was going to most definitely be a hit with the ladies and guess what....OUT OF THE PARK! The item shipped almost immediately, the package arrived extremely quick, the custom personal note included was spot on, the packaging was absolutely amazing, and the lock itself was very very well crafted for a $38 item. Heck, that item should be no less than $100 in my opinion just due to the product quality, presentation, shipping, etc. Quite large in size...heavy, fully functional and just an all around unique product. I took a chance not really knowing anything about Olive & Cocoa....but rest assured...This will not be my last item ever ordered with them. I am EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!

Wonderful lock
My daughter , my mother and I had long ago planned for our trip to Paris. We had everything ready to go....and then my mother died. She left this world on December 22, 2018 and our trip was on March 24th. My daughter and I made the hard decision to go on to Paris and take a picture that we had of her with us. We also took the love locks. We put her name and ours on the lock, and was not able to put it on the bridge so threw it in the Seine River while shouting Welcome to Paris Mom!!!!!!!!! We believe she was with us and smiled. The Paris trip will always have such meaning to me because of the locks. Thank you for making the lock with such high quality. I believe that lock will stay in Paris forever.

When I purchased this, it was a randomly chosen gift for a friend in the hospital, but it was worth it. I spoke with Amber and she was spectacular. It is (by far) the most elegant and beautiful gift that I could have given and I am baffled by the customer service I recieved. I bought this as a Valentine gift for my husband. We honeymooned in Paris so we had seen the locks in person therefore it has special meaning for us. We both just love it. Packaging was fantastic. The lock looks like what you see in the picture. The lock is difficult to open and close which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. We don't anticipate opening it that often though so we were fine with it. It will be more of a decoration.

IT'S SO NEAT
The lock didn't carry as much weight as I expected, but it is exactly as pictured!
The box it comes in is wrapped too perfect to even try to open before handing it to your recipient, you may have to wait until they open it to see it.
I wrote a note with mine. Yet, there was a note inside the gift box that mentioned Paris and the love bridge...for a second my friend was confused as to whether I was hinting Paris. I had to explain I didn't know they were including that (I trashed it lol).
It would help if that note was not inside the gift box so the giver can use or dispose of it as needed.
But everything else was great!

Great customer service
I bought the lock for my husband for Valentines day. Olive and Cocoa called and informed me it would not be here because the vendor failed to meet the backorder date which left me without a gift. They took off the shipping charge for the lock order and also allowed me to select a gift for free that could be here by Valentines day. Obviously, they took a loss in this transaction but they were committed to keeping me a happy consumer. So my husband ended up with a box of chocolate and a week to ten days, a beautiful lock as well. We are planning on attaching it to the bridge over Lake Murray. I have shopped at OlI've and Cocoa for a few years and they never disappoint.

great gift
Instead of buying an expensive valentines day gift this year I decided to do something different. I bought the Love Lock and cooked a simple dinner. It turned out to be the best Valentines day ever. We fastened the lock to an arbor in the backyard, and each of us kept a key.

Perfect gift of love
This was something that I had always heard about but I have seen in Paris except in pictures. A friend said she saw the bridge on her trip and it was sweet and beautiful. I gave this as a gift, it brought tears to her eyes, it looked and felt like the ones in Paris, plus it brought back fond memories of her trip. Great gift, great packaging, prompt shipping. Timeless...a classic iron lock and key.

Totally ausome
Bought this for our Daughter that is getting married in Kentucky . The wedding party are cycling three days to their destination .we wanted her to attach this to a bridge that they will be crossing . The memories of the day will last forever, and a revisit hopefully on Anniversaries to follow.
