I purchased my angel 3 weeks ago for Christmas,however, she is so lovely, I plan to keep her with me all year.

She arrived quickly and has a strong presence on my mantle. I love her sweet expression, and she brings love and peace to the Christmas season. Very vintage. More beautiful than even her photograph.

I debated purchasing Gabrielle because it's always difficult to determine the quality of the piece from a catalog photo. I'm so glad I decided to acquire her for the holiday season. She is gorgeous.

My question - are there other angels to go with gabriel - need more than one for mantel

This is a beautiful piece. I was surprised at how large it is when it arrived -- I guess I hadn't read the dimensions carefully enough. I thought it was the kind of thing you stick on a mantle, but it's much bigger than that. Now that I'm looking at the photo again, I'm seeing the scale compared to the candle.. I'm keeping it -- I'll just have to figure out where to put it when next Christmas rolls around. :)

I bought this angel because it reminds me of antique Santos statues. The wings are removable so it can be used all year round. It was much taller than I expected because I didn't look at the height, but I love the size!

Every year since I was a girl, I purchase an annual "angel gift" for my mom. I am not 51 and she is 72. This year I found this exquisite dark haired antiqued looking Gabrielle angel. It arrived beautifully wrapped and I gave it to my mother for Christmas - she loved it! There was a flaw in the hook that supports the wings so the wings were askew. I contacted Olive & Cocoa and they sent a new one basically overnight! Gabrielle now has a prominent spot on her fireplace for year round display. Both of us couldn't be happier with this lovely piece and even more exceptional customer service, in this modern day when much of that customer service and attention to detail is a thing of the past. Not so with Olive & Cocoa!

I gave Gabrielle as a Xmas gift and perfect for a French Country furnished home. The description given is exact with the washed colors. I gave it 4 stars as the slots for the wings were not aligned and if she been airborne she would have listed far to the left. We had to add something behind to adjust them.

I absolutely love this angel. It's quite large so you can't just put it anywhere

Beautiful piece; primitive, shabby look in soft muted colors. This is exactly the piece I've been looking for, for a primitive french or italian look. It wasn't inexpensive, but it's a big, substantial piece, and heavy.
