Unique personal gift
This is a gift for a friend who hand sews exquisite personal quilts ....this is a special book for her to record the fabrics, threads, colors, name of pattern sewn and the year with name of person for whom it was made. I can't wait to give it to her!

Very disappointed
I definitely cannot recommend this journal. I was very impressed by the way they look in the catalog but was shocked at the difference when it came in the mail. The cover looks old and cheaply made. I have ordered other things from Olive & Cocoa that I was delighted with but this is definitely not their usual quality product.

Not as described
It's pretty but it is NOT a hinged journal. Very disappointed.

Perfect gift
Bought 5 of these for family and it was a huge hit! Not only that but the salesperson was so helpful in detailing the sending out and all the best ways for me to do it. I really want to thank her (do not remember her name). She was spot on!

Priceless Journal for Sister!
My sister was instantly in love with this beautiful journal! She has everything but she couldn't get over the journal design and the crate packaging.
She writes a Gratitude diary each AM to remember her daily blessings. Her granddaughter was there when it arrived and she wanted one too!

Stunning presentation, disappointing product
I wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing this journal. The wrapping and box it came in was absolutely gorgeous! So pretty. But I honestly thought that the journal was a metal filigree over a pink background, which is how the journal appears in the catalog and online. I was disappointed that this is not the case. The journal is still a beautiful one, just not what I expected. I will keep it but wish I had known this in advance.

Gorgeous Journal & Wooden Box
I ordered this for myself as I am moving and wanted to journal this huge life change. It's gorgeous! The wood Olive and Cocoa box is STUNNING! Prettier than any photo could capture.
I purchased this exquisite journal for my sister's birthday. She is thrilled with it. The journal is so well made, it opens wide and is flexible enough to stay open during use. Unlike the journals that are difficult to write in due to constant resistance to keep open. The paper is high quality and faintly lined. A hidden pocket in the back jacket for keepsakes was a pleasant surprise.

Exceeds expectations!

Gorgeous journal!

the journal is embossed to appear as a metal filigree cover when actually the only silvered metal is the two hinges.

I was disappointed.
I was disappointed it is a paper or plastic filigree painted silver. I thought it might be at least a metal or wood, something sturdy.
