Classic Champagne Cocktail

If you're planning on serving champagne at this year's New Year's Eve party, why not consider mixing it up with a champagne cocktail? The combination of botanical bitters, champagne, sugar, and tart lemon is both unexpected and refreshing. These bubbly cocktails are especially beautiful when served in sophisticated glassware, like our Artisan Textured Champagne Flutes, or our sculptural Delancy Champagne Flutes. Cheers!

Sugar cubes
Bitters (we recommend Angostura or Peychaud's)
Champagne or other sparkling wine (find out how to pick out the perfect champagne here)
Twist of lemon peel

Place a sugar cube in a chilled champagne flute. Add 2 or 3 dashes of bitters, then fill the flute with champagne or sparkling wine. Squeeze the lemon peel over the cocktail, garnish with the lemon twist, and serve.
